Thanks for the cliche philosophical stance homie. Im not relating the plug to any kind of maintenance or mechanical oversight. I am, however, saying that with some of the other things needing attention, the level of preventative maintenance was exaggerated by the seller. It’s all good. We all know we are ultimately responsible for our own purchases.
Didn't mean it that way at all. Just learned my lesson one too many times.
 
It looks like a major failure occured in that spark plug which led to your situation. The internal seal gave away and blew the core and top out of the plug. That's a rare occurance with quality plugs like NGK or Denso. Is the damaged plug the same as the others? If not, it could have been left in there by a tech who went to remove it and found it difficult so left it in so as to not have to deal with jacked up threads. That's happened more than a few times by hack techs.
