200 Series Third Row Removal

I know this is an old thread, but in case anybody is still watching: my wife and I are looking at a 200 series in the US, but concerned about the cargo space with the third row. I see that the two row heritage edition has 53 and 1/2 cubic feet, is there any reason to believe that the cargo space would be different in a non-heritage edition with the third row removed? Is there anything different structurally about the non-heritage edition?

There's no difference in dimensions best I can tell. It's not comparative to some of the domestic SUV's (Cadillac escalade vs escalade ESV for example). The HE/non-HE trims are the exact same internal dimensions IIRC. Once you pull those seats out, you will have the same available space as a 2-row variant.

I just took mine out. Big difference. Heritage Mat and KAON mounting points to finish it off. Not sure if I'll remove the seatbelts.

Took mine out also, literally took me 5 minutes to do both. Looks clean and shaved like 80lbs off the weight. The platform bed/box in building will weigh around that much so it’s a wash.
