New to me 2017 lc200 in San Diego. 85k miles and drives great. Loving it so far, came with Icon shocks, Icon wheels and 35” Toyo RT, Dissent front and rear bumpers. Doing the front and rear brakes this weekend and ordered a rear camera relocation from Dissent along with a few other parts.

Played around in Moab over Thanksgiving. Took my daughter part way down to Gemini Bridges to let her drive (steer) a bit. Less fun without mom in the car to terrify, by nice to spend the time solo with her. Then filled every seat with family and friends to tour Arches one day, and Canyonlands the next. Went halfway up Long Canyon Road, out Potash Road, and unfortunately got turned around before the Shafer switchbacks due to ice on the trail. Kind of a bummer, but f#%& driving those switchbacks in icy conditions. Ended up backtracking and going the whole way up Long Canyon and there was a good bit of ice and snow in the shade towards the top so glad we were forced to re-route.

Really wanted to hit Fins and Things but I've got too much money devoted to other things currently so banging up my bumpers wouldn't have been as welcome of an excuse to call up Dissent as it normally would be. Hopefully next year.

Funny seeing your pictures and hearing about ice… I have a few of my own in a couple of the same spots and it was as if I was on the planet Mercury when I took mine.

Sounds like a great time!

Yea, I was honestly blindsided by the switchbacks being closed - it felt like a very regular fall day in Moab otherwise and I've been up them several times this same time of year. I was feeling a little frustrated by being turned around until we ran into snow and ice a bit after this pic was taken. Definitely was happy that the worst case scenario there was ending up in a ditch. I guess if I went off the switchbacks I might eventually end up in a ditch...
