ok, here's the deal...

It's running and it's running ok. It has a stutter/ stumble in it, and I've never had an engine do that before so I don't have a clue what to do about it...

Today, AFTER the 1st test, I adjusted the valves...

Here's the results:

HC: 512ppm limit: 220
CO: 0.12% limit: 1.2
CO2: 9.2 limit N/A

Now I've done some searching, but "NOX" has always come up and have no idea what that is, so I'll say it's useless info...

And on the Cat being bad deal, wouldn't the ultra low readings of the CO rule that out?

Also, it's a Hybrid so I'm under the assumption it has higher compression, but I feed it low test(10% Eth). With the Ethanol, I'm thinking I'm good...

And b/c it's a Hybrid I have no idea what to even set the timing at...

It's also running just a little hot, above where I'm accustomed to 22R's running...

Also doesn't have a temp sensor on it. There was no provision in the 20R manifold I could put it.

Thank you.

PS, I hate the "gargle" valve with a passion. Can I just pull the vac off it and live happily, quietly, ever after?

in order.. Denso W16ERXR-U

hmmm.....

"With modified engines (those engines that have increased their compression) more heat is a by-product of the added power that normally comes with increased compression. In short, select one heat range colder for every 75-100 hp you add, or when you significantly raise compression. Also remember to retard the timing a little and to increase fuel enrichment and octane. These tips are critical when adding forced induction (turbos, superchargers or nitrous kits), and failure to address ALL of these areas
will virtually guarantee engine damage."

Changed the plugs...

HC: 99ppm Limit:220
CO: 0.05% Limit: 1.2
CO2: 11.5% Limit: N/A

:)

from 512ppm to 99 and all I did was change the plugs...

I'll say... And I just remembered the vac to the gargle/ reed valve was pulled... So whatever it was or did, dint even matter...

Runs cooler now and has a lot less stumble/ stutter.

But all I did was change the plugs and fiddle with the timing some...
