2 Codes! Need Help

Hi,

I have an LX450.
1996 with 1FZ-FE stock.

I have this 2 code:

P0125
P0401

The first one I think it's the thermostat but the second one it EGR but is it the unit itself?

The Gas milage is now TERRIBLE. 5.2 gallons for 28 Miles.

You will find they are suggestions, not directions.

O2 sensors, EGR valve, wiring, intake hose and many other possibilities.

P0401 is like Lord Voldemort. It's the code that shall not be named. My condolences.

Joking aside, just do a search for "P0401" to learn more than you ever wanted to know. Could be as simple as one loose vacuum hose, or as complex as an entire EGR system overhaul.

i have been getting a 401 for 2 years now and just clear it..now im getting a 401 & a 402 on a almost daily basis..time to figure out something

I cured my '401' by replacing my 'VSV for EGR'...it seemed like it would be a real problem until I discovered that if you lie under neath with about three ft of extensions on the socket..you could see and get the toughest bolt removed. But that was my 'cure'
