A while back I received a Toyota antenna kit from @ToyotaMatt with intentions of replacing my fj60 antenna.
I ended up going a different route on that rig but I just installed it on my 1985 4Runner with a slight modification to the lower mounting bracket.
The diameter of the antenna shaft is slightly larger than the stock antenna. Stock being rigid and the new antenna telescopes.
