No more 14mm Deep socket flex plate bolt trick for me. One of them was loose, it look like it was about to tear apart. I'll be replacing all six flexplate bolts.

Some folks bump start to break the bolt, some use a 14mm socket on the flywheel to isolate the crank bolt.

However, after exploring a few options when I built my 1fz I would recommend ordering the tool, from @CPACruiser , cheap insurance IMO, worked FANTASTIC! NO headaches.
