Just thought I'd throw this out there,,,, I'm sure I'll want to replace the 3F in my troopy, and I started looking at, and planning an LS swap.

But the more I think about it, the more I want to keep my cruiser,,,, well,,, cruiser. Maybe I'm more of a purist than I give myself credit for.

Now I LOVE a diesel engine,,,, but after swapping one into my piggy I found out that I don't love diesel fuel, so that's out.

I like the straight 6 engines, they just feel right in these rigs, so. If anybody is planning a diesel or other engine swap and has a FZ-F, i'd be interested in discussing.

Good engines, I have one.
Make sure the carb, vacuum lines and the timing has not been messed with by someone who didn't know what they where doing.

You can still get a new coil pack 1FZ new from Toyota. And all the other stuff. That would be a really cool Install in a 70 series with an aftermarket ECU and manual transmission. Maybe a turbo.
