1FZ-F Carbureted Engine 80 series

Hey everyone,
does anyone here have experience with the carbureted version of the FZJ80?
I have a few questions about the starting behavior and would like to compare whether everything with mine is still “normal.”
Maybe someone also has experience with the gasoline-powered J7 pickups from the 1990s that had the same engine.

You might want to post this in the 70's section as some of those trucks are carbureted FZ's I helped a friend pull one for his diesel swap a few weeks back.
