Hello every one.... I can only find the last oil pump (new) here in Ecuador. However I need a 1F oil pump. the sales person told me to just swap the head of the oil pumps. My question to the pro"s. has any one has done this Thansk to all

I only briefly looked st this question for the first time a few months ago. From what I recall one pump housing was 1/2” longer than the other, but I don’t remember which way, F to 2F. There could be potential clearance issues, but I kind of doubt it since they share a common crankshaft.

The complete 2F oil pump can be used. The pickup will interfere with a baffle in the oil pan, so the baffle must be cut out and trimmed flush with the bottom of the pan.
