Saw this on a site. Is that the location of the 1F Motor Oil filter? Near the exhaust?

Yep, see all the "mods" and don't like them. But just curious. There are some things I would consider salvaging for My LC if I wanted a donor, but man, this is "interesting". Would be a good car to restore back to original.

Well, not to my knowledge. But the F motor has a remote oil filter... So technically, you can mount it literally anywhere if you run oil lines to it. It's kind of neat. I would assume it's factory (or at least there's nothing wrong with it being mounted there). But that motor is ugly for sure
