I have a 1999 100 series landcruiser (gas engine) and recently had the fuel injectors professionally cleaned at 365K miles (Rx Injectors in Sugerland, Tx, did a very good job). Here's my question, I reassembled things according the the haynes manual , after restarting the engine I noticed a leak on the injector for the #1 cylinder - I kind of expected something to leak being my first time doing this job. I turned the car off immediately after ID'ing location of the leak (#1 cylinder injector). No other leaks. I waited an hour for things to evapator and went to restart the car again. This time no leakage from #1 injector, no other leaks either, I let it run for 10 minutes at idle before turning the car off, there were no leaks. I did rev it to 3000rpm as well. I was surprised since normally leaks don't fix themselves - is this normal and should I take any further action? I was thinking next to drive it around the neighborhood and if that holds. I'm nervous to leave it like that unless others have had similar experiences without issues longer term? Thanks for any advice.

I wouldn’t worry too much about it but keep an eye on it. The o-ring probably just needed to seat correctly. I had a similar issue with my 07 and it was fine.

No leaks since that initial time , I will watch it but I guess it's good now. Oddly enough, in the end the rough idle didn't go away, the error code P0308 didn't go away, until I replaced the ignition coil on #8. This surprised me given the problem previously went away for some time with the fuel additive but I guess simultaneously the coil was at the end of its life.
