Newbie here so if I need to find a recent thread just point me in the right direction. I am considering a 98 LC with about 153K miles. It seems pretty stock and little to no modifications. Seller wants $12,000 for it. Per the seller, no accidents, no damage, no current issues, no rust. I am in Hawaii and there are limited options here. Seller is off island till next week. So the loaded question...what's fair market value for one of these?

I would ask how long it's been in Hawaii, from new or brought in from the mainland. Mileage seems normal for Hawaii. Has it been garaged, pets, smoke in, aloha seat covers protecting the seats? Faded paint? Typically, '98's don't have rear AC but they might've had them for Hawaii. Difficult to value in Hawaii since they are pretty rare there. Probably $2k+ to ship from CA.

Biggest thing check for any rust see if belt was done recently and any other work usually run 8-15k depending on service and condition
