I sold my vehicle a few weeks ago on CL. This is the first time we ever sell a vehicle on CL. I arrange to meet potential buyer at parking lot of shopping center. Why? One reason is because I dont want some stranger to show up at my house. If they give me some BS, I just drive away. I dont need the drama lol

Back to the thread, I think what she is asking is pretty good deal. When I was looking around a few months ago, the few LC/LX that was good/fair deal got sold quickly. Its a supply-demand, and LC/LX has a high demand with very few supply. The few that did not get sold quickly, either had some problems, or way over-priced, or both.

I also wouldn't sell it in that situation (showing up with a lower amount, expecting me to swoon at the sight of cash), after telling you I won't take your offer. I recently purchased a 2010 Camaro, I gave my offer, he gave his counter (already at my max I would agree), and bought it. I didn't get the steal of the day, I paid market, but, comparing to the other vehicles I was looking at, it was like brand new. It only had 8,600 miles, it literally looked as if it was just driven off the lot. Based on the prices I have seen around here, it is definitely not a steal, but it is a fair price, given the documentation of maintenance, long time-owner, etc.

Just bought my 98 w/220k, original owner ,garage kept, rear diff lock, new tires and tb/wp done at 180k. I paid $6900 and feel like I got a great deal plus it was only 1/2 hr from my house. I would have it inspected by someone before I paid the $8k even though that is a good price. Good luck!
