1997 Lexus LX450 210,xxx miles - $6,000 -

and the RR quarter really should be redone
o Interior floor lined w/ Durabak

Rear Bumper

Exhaust

o Magnaflow 3 way spun catalytic converter
o New O2 Sensors @ about 175K miles
o Mandrel bent tubing over frame
o Cherry Bomb Turbo Muffler
o One weak point is it has some flex tubing in part of the exhaust which works, but would be better if replaced with solid exhaust tube.

Sliders

o Owner built rotating sliders
o Out-riggers are 2”x2” x ¼” wall tube
o Main body is a trapezoid shape of 6”, 3”, 3” and 2” x 3/16” plate
o Slides over rocks easier than tube sliders, and gives maximum clearance
o In down position they are lower than step sliders, and provide a great step in . Makes getting into tall truck
really easy - easier than my friends Tacoma w/ 3" of lift!

Custom skid plate
o Extends to sliders at center mounting point.
o Even with bottom of frame except at t-case where it slopes down to clear
o Reinforced w/ tubing

All 4 brake rotors replaced @ 165,000 miles

New 100 Series Pads @210,000

Issues

• Rear defroster doesn’t work - the wire that attaches to the glass is busted
• Rear wiper doesn't work - have not diagnosed why
• Dome lights don't work - have not diagnosed why
• Power attenna needs to be replaced
• ABS light is on, pretty sure it's just front wheel sensor

I bought this truck with 163,000 Miles and it was a one owner truck. I’ve had it for 6 years and have simply become bored having the same truck for so many years. No known mechanical issues, and the truck drives good down the hwy at 75+. Still rides comfortably despite its height and 37” wheels. Off-road with the lockers and long travel suspension the truck is simply amazing. Locked 80’s are good, 37” tires and 14” travel shocks take this truck to a higher level. It has been used for it's intended purpose on the rare occasions I have time.

This is true. When I first looked at 80's there was one with a 6" lift on 37's for $10K and I wouldn't touch it because I didn't want to go down the 'too built' road again.

And of course I have 37's now. An 80 on 37's is easily as streetable as a typical Jeep on 33's. If you are interested take a drive, and GLWS

Ah yes, I remember how adiment you were when you first got your 80 that going to 37's would ruin the truck for any normal use just like you'd ruined your Cherokee for that purpose. Course at that time very few people were running 37's and lots of people were running 6" just to run 35's. How times change, eh? I thought I was going to be one of the few when I got my 37's, and suddenly there are dozen's of guys running them. Heck, there's a dozen guys on here running the same 37's I am, let alone any other brand of tire. Course I think you were one of the first to bedline an 80 a whole 80 on mud, and now there's 1/2 dozen of those too. Evolution is funny.

actually took a rag to the dash this morning - really cleans up nice

Got my Iron Man 4x4 (Camel 4x4) adjustable panhard rod in the mail - finally going to get all the tie rod ends and stuff on in the next couple weeks - it's not loose right now, but it will be nice to have all new parts in there...

Thats a good looking truck you have there Walking Eagle. I have always liked it! and the one red wheel!

GLWS

Finally got around to doing the tie rod ends that I planned on getting done by end of Sept. So much life going on outside of cruiserdom. Anyway - still for sale - now with nearly $600 of front end parts that are 3 days old - Put it all on Sunday and had it Aligned Monday (12/12/11). No change to asking price, but this is one tight front end now - all upgraded parts, so should easily be another 200k before any maintance on any of this is needed again.

Tie rod ends $100

Cruiser Outfitters

MAF relay rod and OME swaybar end bushings (well, the bushings are still in the bag :) )

it doesn't seem to like me adding attachments after the fact lately, so here's my shinny new parts, too bad it was too cold out to paint, or I'd freshened things up a bit...

Not sure how I've missed this on the streets of Tulsa. Nice ride, and good luck with the sale.

I'm not down in Tulsa allot, work and home are both Owasso, so if you don't go my route from 116th to 76th and back again, you won't see me :) Well, unless you're over at Disney or SMORR :)

All over the entire metro area, daily. For that matter, see plenty of OK.

I used to be at the corner of 86th and 161st daily, and was for ten years. After I was relieved of ownership, rewarded myself with an FJC, and the rest is history.

Looking to add to the stable, and focusing on 60/62 now, but a 40 started the love affair many years ago, and is still in the future.

Sorry for the thread jack.

yep still for sale - had my other car vandalized last night, so thinking I need to get all cars in driveway / garage.

If you only used a half a tank, you've got to be close to Tulsa.

Not sure where the regional forums are located here, but there's a relatively good group of FJC and LC guys in this area, and always trying to get more on the roster for trail runs and such.

I'm in Wichita. Been looking for one for about 2 months. Found them on both coasts and was ready to take a trip to either coast to pick one up till I find this. Kansas is part of Tornado Alley Cruisers. I've posted an introduction in there. I'll be up for some trail runs in a month or two.

Sold to me. The drive home went well. Used just over half a tank to get home. Thanks Heath for everything.

Glad it went well, hope you enjoy it.
