I have actually see this a lot recently with land cruisers on craigslist. I responded to one a few weeks ago for a different unmodified fj80. Price wasn't out of the realm of possibility.
Texted them, their response was to email their "friend" for details. Email fishing expedition.
The same ad showed up in KC, OKC, and Wichita. Each time it got flagged and removed a new ad with a different description and shot of the vehicle from a different angle showed up.
This won't be the last we have seen of your truck at this great discount price!

Multiple ads popping up in San Diego Craigslist as well. At first I was like HOLY S$#! That's a deal....knew it was too good to be true and then I remembered it was your ad! Both ads flagged
Ps - lived in charleston 3 years ago to attend CofC, man I miss that place, just not the waves

So for those of you that are disappointed by the scammers trying to falsely sell the truck, the good news is its still available for a very reasonable price!
