I’m reviewing a few and hoping to make my choice in the next couple weeks. Just purchased beautiful 60 series through this forum this week!!

I’ve seen this one on BaT when it was there and since. Could you share details of the restoration? All is was able to see is dry ice blasting, window trim and replacement piece by the brake booster. Details of condition, rust underneath (what had been pot-15 treated and what not, condition of frame and if deep rust on there prior to por-15, etc), pictures of restoration, etc would help me make a decision.

What do you think happened the first time when it was sold for $35,000? Did that buyer just not realize what condition it was in and seller at the time not disclose?

I realize it will need work and I plan on doing a large restoration, just want to know what level I’m getting into up front. Thanks!

There was no deep rust, por 15 or any restoration done.

All we needed to do was fix minor issues, return hacked repair jobs back to OEM, dry ice blast the entire underbody then light Eastwood rust encapsulator over the treated areas, 1 spray can was all that was needed. Most of the work was done by the last owners prior to 2022.

There isn't anything needed to do now, just drive and enjoy it.
