Hey guys I just got a 96 lx450 with 209xxx miles and in *mostly* unmolested condition. It’s got a few things I need to work out but hopefully nothing I can’t handle. The previous owner managed to rip the downstream o2 sensor pigtail off and the downstream cat was missing and it ran rough. Fast forward to today and I have replaced the y pipe and second cat and hard wired the downstream o2 sensor (I guess I did it right and there are no associated codes) but the idle is rough still and I’m getting codes P0325 and P0330 (knock sensors). The million of both sensors failing are not impossible but I would prefer not just throwing parts at it. Does anybody have any suggestions?

Very first thing you should do is download the Toyota FSM and EWD from the resources section.
The Toyota FSM has a diagnostic procedure for the knock sensor circuits starting on page DI-59 as mentioned on page DI-14 of the diagnostic trouble code chart.
