Well, here goes... I'll do the best I can to describe my 80. I've owned this truck for approximately two years. I procured it for 5k with 188k miles and have since done the following:

(all work was done within the last year, all receipts are present, truck currently has 206k)

- HG kit purchased from CDAN and installed by IRON PIG, head redone
- OME 2'' heavy kit (performed by IPOR OFF ROAD)
- Knuckle rebuild (IPOR)
- PHH
- New fuel tank
- fuel cap
- Belts, cap, rotor, wires, plugs
- New water pump
- All new toyota wipers front and rear
- Color matched wheels and front bumper
- Oil Pump seal
- Front crank seal
- PCV valve and grommet
- Nitto Terra Grapplers with full size spare
- Front and rear rotors and pads (100 series pads, factory rotors)
- Trans and diff fluids
-New sony head unit with bluetooth and XM - All new alpine speakers (excluding cargo area speaker and front tweaters)
-New leather boots (factory toyota) around E - Brake and transfer case
- New interior pieces (center console, section above the steering wheel, vent surrounds etc... Previous owner had wood grain and tried to remove it with a screwdriver. I'm very anal so I had to order new interior pieces from CDAN, I couldn't stand the scratches the PO left in the plastic
- Weathertech mats, front and rear
- Factory service manual

Everything functions as it should - Heat and AC, power antenna, all windows work with surprising vigor (for an 80), does not smoke, burns approximately 1 quart of oil per change, shifts properly, lockers function, IPOR did a full inspection.

Things that need to be addressed - Leaks a few drips of coolant at start from above the trans (I've been told it's a heater line) most folks apparently bypass the rear heat, small dent in the tailgate (easily repaired by a dent wizard). I honestly can't think of much else.

This is not a project truck, I've spent approx. 9k on this vehicle in the last 12 months. Very little surface rust on frame, no body rust, light corrosion (normal for it's age, exceptional for my region). If anyone would like a PPI, make sure it's within driving distance of zip code 20187. The truck is located 35 miles southwest of Washington DC. VIN # JT3HJ85J3T0139774. I am selling to buy a 100, I just purchased a 22' center console and need a tow rig. I'll love to trade for a well PM'd 98 or 99 100 with less than 175k. Asking $9,000.00

Saw the post on CL.. also have read your posts in the past. You spent a lot of time and money to get it right. Any particular reason you are selling?

Edit: Just saw your note about wanting a 100 series. I can't blame you given your intended usage.

towing a 22' boat with an 80 isn't the best exercise. I can't give up the Landcruiser addiction so a 100 will do

sale pending

good talking to you as well, I'll let you know

Prospective purchaser is making arrangements, I'll re-post if the deal falls through

SOLD...:crybaby:

And sold to me :) I've got some plans for this thing, mostly suspension stuff. Anyways, she drove like a dream from VA and I just got in yesterday to Colorado. She's already been tinted, as that thing was like a sauna with all the windows.

Thanks again man, and I'm sorry to put you in such despair, haha. And to prove we made it...
