Ask him for a picture of the VIN/Decal in the engine bay. I can tell you if it's been altered or not from that. Most of these rigs have had work done on them. GCC heat is no joke, but the plus is parts are very affordable in the Middle East.

The wear and tear looks way too much for a vehicle with 257,000 kms. This is less miles than my LX450, and my pedals look brand new compared to seller's. I assume the pedals are aftermarket though. I personally wouldn't trust the odometer because of aftermarket pedals. The dash looks abused as well, as if pulled several times. Sun has taken its toll.

the interior looks a little thrashed, but it has a dash grab handle, so I'd say go for it.

I’ll see what info I can find and get back to you - appreciate your help!

Thanks for the comments y’all. Taking it to a shop today for a look over. I’ll try to get a pic of the vin that would be really helpful @GCCFZJ

Thanks will bring up the pedals and dig in a bit more about the history of the vehicle.

Honestly, the wear and tear looks about right for that region, environment and mileage. Could it have been taking better care of, sure but most trucks in that part of the world are utilitarian and used as such. This does factor into what is acceptable cost for the vehicle.

The import fees and tariffs, if planning on bringing it back into the States, need to be considered in the overall cost as well.

It has some interesting things that I don't think I ever noticed before in other offering from the UAE. The center console is the refrigerator/cooling unit version. There is no grab handle on the passenger A pillar but this is most likely due to the dash having the grab bar instead. The overhead console doesn't look to have the aux tank stuff but thought the ad said it had a long range tank.
