Hello Ih8mud,
My cousin has an Automatic 1994 landcruiser that he bought brand new back then. Now it has 280000 Km on it and it's been sitting in the shop waiting to be fixed.
The problem is that the mechanic is saying something wrong with wire harnesses . As soon as they put the car in drive the car stalls. Any idea I would appreciate some help . Thanks
Location of the car is Houston and rust free

Check where the main wiring harness passes behind the EGR. It can be hard to see but those wires get hot and pinched over time and can cause those symptoms. Open the wiring harness up and inspect the individual wires to see if they aren’t shorting out. One quick test is to put the car in reverse and see if it still stalls.

Could be a vacuum leak between the intake and the AFM. Probably a crack in the intake ribbed hose. The issue should easily duplicated to verify the problem by moving the suspected part or wire harness while in park with engine running.

Is the O/D light blinking?

Thank you will get that checked

If it idles ok, gently shake the wiring harness behind the EGR. If you've got wires shorting in that area as mentioned above the engine should stutter or stall as you say it's doing. If that doesn't cause anything, inspect the intake tube for cracks.
