So the seller sent a photo of the title and chassis/vin# model: LJ77LV, motor: “D” 2LT

Youre not wrong. 😉 I just want to make sure its not an undesirable model.

I just don't think about that, I have sold a few cars over the years for less than I paid, maybe for that reason, but during my time with them I was a happy guy regardless.

If you decide to buy it, I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

The air compressor was removed by the previous owner. Is that expensive to remedy?

Does the Cruiser have air lockers?

Thanks! What are your thoughts on pricing? Anything specific to look for when I go view it?

It really depends on where you plan to sell. I'm in Canada half a world away from you. I have no idea of the Euro prices.

In the US that truck would probably sell for $20-30k USD. Similar in Canada, but CAD $.

I dont know what are those? I can ask.
Axle lockers. Just trying to figure what role the air compressor served for the previous owner.

Yes it would be in the U.S. Im not as concerned for Europe. Of course ai always want to get a good deal. He is asking 15,5k euro, I think thats decent? Euro and dollar are about the same value now, which is what got me looking in the first place. 👍

That seems reasonable to me.

He said the lockers are working. He also said they are independent from the ac
Oh his reasoning was the car is from an area where ac wasnt needed so they removed them for more engine power or something along those lines.

Any idea on what you would pay for something like this?
The klms are kind of high. I would want to know whats behind the black paint on the doors

Is the engine the only difference between the LJ77 and 78?
The years is what separates them. The 78 was an updated model

Not too expensive if only the compressor was removed. If the ducting and controls and all the other bits and pieces are missing, then it will get expensive and tedious.
The old compressor probably wore out.

is it genuine trim? Some doors rust out and they patch them up with a coat of black paint.

Good question. I guess I wouldn’t know until I view the car and could verify. However the seller and I are at an impasse. Ive asked for a discount due to the missing compressor and he doesn’t want to go any lower. ;)

The black along the bottom is factory trim commonly seen on the higher end trim LWB. Here are some photos I have of a set I have in my parts box.
