Parting Out 1989 Fj62. Tetanus Cruiser.,

This one had a great history. Sorry to see it in this condition, but thats what Mn winters have in store. Will begin pulling parts over the next week. We have a clean 62 that we will be transferring some of the parts over to. Mirrors, some various switches etc. This is based in Wester Wisconsin 54016 and will be a lsow moving process as I travel a great deal for work.

Jen decided she wants to keep the DragonFly stock-ish. We have pulled the parts we need to get hers 100% with good stock for future troubles.

Tires are like new, but old! Last registered in 2009.

Sliders, rear bumper will need sandblasting and powder-coating.

Warn Winch. M12000. In cab controls. $950. We used this to load the Tetanus on the trailer. Will deliver in the MSP area for good bourbon.

ARB Bumper. These ones are not easy to find. $600 . I have a sand blast and powder coat guy close by, may just get this puppy cleaned up. It wont take much to make it shine again.

Loaded up Sliders and rocker protection for the sand blaster and powder coat treatment. Put Roy to work. Lets see what kind of magic these guys can work. Thise sliders put up a fight, had to cut a hole through the floorboard to get to that top bolt with the sawzall.

Pulled remaining parts that I want. Should get bumper and running boards back this week. Going to try them on the DragonFly. Also have a snorkel that needs a home. Should be out of the shop on Wednesday, then we start on the other summer projects. Only a couple more months here before we head back to Texas. Stuffs gatta get done.

She gone... the car, not the smell. Harvested all of the good stuff. Some parts moved over, others being reconditioned. Called the local auto salvage place and they came out and took what remained. Sad to see it go. Still have W12000 winch, Front Bumper and sliders, roof rack.
