It appears I have a leak in the center heater core of my 1989 FJ62. I can find virtually no information of this subject. The leak is a slow drip coming down from one of the smaller heater hoses coming down from the bottom of the landcruiser. Any thoughts.. Thanks

There are two heartier core in the 60 series known as Front and Rear. Since you mention the hoses are underneath the truck you are probably interested in the Rear core.

Try searching for Rear heater core.

If the hose is leaking it can be replaced. I don’t know about new spares for the rear core. Many people just disconnect or remove the rear core since often it is not needed.

The rear heater core tubes (to which the hoses under the truck are connected) are extremely fragile. Use care in removing the rubber hoses, or you will mangle those metal tubes attached to the heater core. Search 'rear heater' on this forum for more info.
