The problem with a 60 in the PNW will be figuring out which one is yours in the starbucks parking lot..;)

I hope you continue to post pics and updates on this fantastic rig.

You make it sound like that is a bad thing? LOL. This will be my thrid FJ60 series, but my first 62. Had to sell my first love 25 years ago for the birth of a kid, Always regretted it. Bought a project FJ60 for my son to drive to High School a few years back with the intention of redoing it with a Vortec and an H55F. Just decided to say screw it and be done with projects and bought Ranger. Looking forward to the road trip home. Maybe we can meet some mudders along the way. Will definitely need some tips on where to go between Atlanta and Seattle Area. My son and I are excited for the adventure...Can I camp in your yard? JK, not going through Vegas. Go Knights Go!!!

Itinerant mudders are always welcome but depending on the time of year it might be more comfortable to sleep in the pool on a float vs. trying to camp in the back yard!

The bringing the new land cruiser purchase home road trip is special, I hope you and your Son have plenty of time to make the most of it. Absolutely tons of opportunity between those two cities for camping and off road adventures. With not too much deviation from the most direct route you can incorporate huge swaths of Colorado and Utah. Both are hard to beat for beautiful vistas and windy back roads.
Depending on how old your son is you could challenge him to read a real map! 25 years ago I got to tour around this amazing country and I studiously avoided highways wherever I could. If you have the time and money its not only a great way to see the country but can be a challenge navigating in places.

Pics are of course required in the 60 section for verification purposes
