Hello all,

I have recently purchased an 1987 Toyota pick-up for daily driver duties, with the occasional light wheeling trip. Where can you find parts for these? I need the odd small piece (shifter boot, transmission skid plate, etc) and I am having very little success finding parts. Is there a SOR of mini-trucks out there? If anyone can help, it'd be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Kevin

Everyone has a skid-plate for dual cases, or with a SAS done. But I havent found a skid-plate that protects what is there now. (single case, IFS) I just want to drive this truck and do some light wheeling while I replace my drivetrain in my FJ40.

OEM shifter boots are pretty easy to find in junkyards, CL, even the dreaded fleaBay. Or buy a parts truck if you have the room. X2 on the Budbuilt single case crossmember. Mine has held up to serious abuse at Fall Gathering, Paragon, and Rausch. Fit both my solid axle 85 and a buddy's IFS 89 before he SAS'd.
