Ok after finally getting her running with a JimC rebuild:beer:, complete replacement of all vacuum hoses (BoostController), coolant/radiator/heater hoses sourced with Oem or Gates, replaced all belts, flushes cooling system and replaced thermostat and gaskets, thankfully no.issues with the thermostat housing. She is.still smogged. It was a PITA to install the lower radiator hose to the blasted coolant pipe.

Local tire shop installed new shoes, Toyota Open Countrys 31x10.5x15. Ride nice over stock size.

I have changed oil with 15w40 and.add the ZDDP from Rislone. It sounds like she has quieter idle.
Both diffs, transfer case and transmission oils were changed. PO super forged fill plug of rear diff and I had to heat the thing up because he left off the washer. Worst part was getting.burned by the plug when it fell into long sleeve...I'm.scarred for life with half moon burn..;).
Also replaced the charcoal canister..Thank you to Spike Strip for his wisdom.
I drove her to my local LC specialist, Mike Dajda. He will replace all front brakes, calipers, rotors-slotted, all rubber brake hoses, Oem from City Racer. Complete axle rebuild hub to hub. Best part is her original suspension is being replaced by OME 2" Light/Medium set up from Iron Pig Off-road-thanks to Tim for great customer service.
Here are couple pics..

She is only 108K on her. We bought her from a Toyota dealership owner. She spent most of her life in Texas hill country, and then Colorado, and now back to.Texas. I'll post more after she has the work complete.

Happy Cruisin!

You ain't a true cruiser head till your truck scars you. ;)
Looks good. And yes I'll attest to the coolant hoses. There are a few others worse than that one.

Hope your taller than my 5'5"... Its hard a heck to reach those last few valves! I was literally sitting on my alt and have many a bruise on my knee to show for it.

Child's play for you Felicity....

@TexasBlue where in Texas are you? We've got a good group of guys here in San Antonio if you're close.
