Hey Guys, Having issues with the 4 runner , When im running the A/C the truck always dies when i come to a stop or a light. When it dies i just turn off a/c and it starts right up again. A/c idle switch or solenoid? not sure what to look for or where to start ---thanks in Advance

Sounds like your idle up valve is not working. I believe you can probe the connector and turn the AC on/off and see if the valve is getting the signal. If it is, then sounds like the VSV itself could be bad.

It's probably the solenoid that sits on top of the valve cover. They burn out frequently, mine did. Put a meter across the coil, see if it's open.
