Sold Pending Funds! I have for sale a 83 LHD BJ42 with 175K kms and factory 5 speed and PS with a 2.5" Hell Creek lift kit. I purchase this truck about 9+ years ago and had new quarter panels, hd wheel wells and front fenders installed and then painted back to the factory Nordic Blue color. I dont' think this truck ever saw much if any salt as it came from a hunting camp in the Yukon and had some nasty mud caked in the front fenders and quarter panels which caused the rust but the frame, body mounts and floor boards ect were/are rust free. The only rust to show it's self since the metal resto is under the driver side door otherwise the truck is rust free. When I got this truck the compression was low so I purchased a 3B here on the forum from Lowenbrau. The replacement motor was a factory rebuild that came out of BJ60 which was rolled shorty after the rebuild. The motor runs like a top and has more power than the other 4 3Bs I have owned. When we replaced the motor we also installed a clutch kit and the rest of the driveline functions flawlessly. There are a few minor issues with the truck I haven't had time to sort out. first the motor leaves a drop or two of oil on the ground like ever other diesel I have owned. The right turn signal doesn't always blink but the hazards flash, the odometer stoped working less the 5K KMs ago, the headliner is starting to sag on the sides, the seats will need attention but have covers installed and the windshield is cracked. There are also no rear jump seats, they were missing when I purchased the truck. I love this truck and have driven it all over the southwest but have decided to part with it to fund the purchase of a diesel LandCruiser pick up as it is hard to haul wood and animals in the back of a 40. I know there is some stuff I have missed and I'm tired of typing so either send me an email to ocotillo_outfitting at Hotmail dot com or call me at 432-466-4843 with questions or for more pics . The price is Sold Pending Funds!. Thanks for looking, Colby
