I have a "parts" cruiser (1982) in Pennsylvania that runs, but has a bad rear frame.Sold mostly everything from the interior and no top/doors. $3000 I'm asking for it (123k running motor and complete drive line) with Title.

I saw that cruiser. I actually bought it several months ago, sight unseen besides pics, through dealer auction. It was advertised as a running vehicle so I thought at worst I could make a trail truck out of it. If not then part it out. I drove to PA to pick it up, and was very disappointed because the pics did not show the extent of the rust. On top of that, it did not run and wouldn't turn over or anything. Completely dead. There was not a single body panel that was worth saving. The interior was shot, rear jump seats were rusted through, top was rusted out, what was left of the tub was rotten. Those are BAGS OF SALT laying in the back! I paid about $2400 for it and would have had about $2700 in it by the time I got it back to SC. I killed the deal, cut my losses, and drove all the way back to SC with an empty trailer. It was a lot truck in PA, NOT SC. Just taking the thing apart would have been a PITA considering the rust, then trying to get money out of it, just not worth the time and effort to me. I looked it over good and just could not justify the effort to get money out of it. If I could have gotten it to start, or even turn over, I probably would have brought it home, but I couldn't. Im guessing that this guy bought it from the same guy I did and is now just truing to unload it because it looks exactly the same as it did several months ago, filled with the same trash. No way of knowing if it sold through ebay or not really, bids on eBay Motors are not legally binding.
