Here is a 1982 FJ40 located in Chattanooga, TN. No affiliation, had a brief conversation with the owner, I have not had a chance to see it in person, thought I would share it in case this is what you are looking for.

ohhh someone did some diamond plate fixing, wonder why the didn't do rear sill why they were at it
 
I'm sure it's crunchy in all the usual places with the rear sill that bad. $29k is very optimistic for a truck with diamond plate rear floor, $15k to $18k is more realistic. It needs a half tub or surgery and the rear crossmember must be rough also.

I was thinking the same, but lately they are selling. If you really want an FJ, the repair work is becoming cheaper than finding one without it.
