1982 distributer into 1983 22r?

Hey there,

I was picking up a part for my Dad, and ended up getting a 1982 distributer instead of a 1983. The part was bought solely for the unruptured diaghram in the vacuum advance.

Will this swap work out ok? Thanks.

Howdy! If both engines were 22r and not 20r, then it should drop in. The 22re, fuel injected model did not come out until 1985. You should be able to swap out just the advance diaphram if you want. John
