Just found this listing in my daily sweep of Craigslist.
1982 Toyota Land Cruiser Diesel BJ42 Collectors edition

I'm interested and in contact with the seller. What do you all think? Any Mudders up in Victoria who have seen this rig? I should probably start searching the forum for how to import a vehicle from Canada....

Solid truck, could easily be turned into a nice daily and/or wheeler. Aqualu fenders are the older style but aluminum doesn't rust!

BJ42's are getting harder to find....

Thanks for all the replies. I agree that it looks like a good truck and the price seems reasonable. But the seller has gone quiet on me since I asked him to drop it off at a nearby mechanic for an inspection that I would schedule and pay for. Am I asking too much? I'd like someone to check it out before I make the trek up there. I also requested a video of it driving or at least running, but that hasn't been sent either.
