Did these trucks come S.O.A. from the factory?

I have a bit of a passenger side lean.
P.O. installed some rear helper springs? Anyone use em?

I have a wee shimmy in 3rd at 2k then it settles out. Normal?

I just cleared enough room in the garage to park it inside. Been crawling around and capping dangling participles. Found a new green plug near where the P.s. reservoir used to be mounted, Two connections inside have been soldered. Some sort of fix for deletion of other equipment. Happens to be on the circuit that handles the alternator.

Oh the joys of a 31 yr old truck!

Yes factory SOA.

Idk about helper springs but I believe my front has an add-a-leaf. The fronts are still flat and ride horribly.

No idea on the shimmy. I try not to drive mine on the road.

The green plug is just a two pin? I know there were a couple like that over on the dr side inner fender. I can look and see if I have any pics from before the swap. Maybe that will help you CSI it up.

And I don't want you to get discouraged but at this point for me it was only the beginning...

Got her running pretty good.

But now the PO added a prestone thing a ma jig into the heater hoses that rubbed against a brake line. Pinhole leak.

Sourced a mechanical fan from a 78? and deleted the fuse blowing heavy ass electric.
