1981 FJ40: Acquired in 2005. Orignated from Paciifc NW; reworked in TN; rebuilt and modified under my ownership. Has, unfortunately, become a gareg queeen. Would like to provide the next FJ40 opportunity to someone who appreciates these vehicles.
What was done:
New Aqualu aluminum bed + repaint circa 5 years ago. Replaced 2F with Chevy hi-comp 350 SB, standrd 4-brl carburation (circa 15K miles ago) mated to OEM 4 speed via Mikes Adaptor. 3 inch Old Man Emu suspension lift; 2 inch body lift. Power steering; aftermarket Knee-Knocker Nippon Denso AC; All OEM hardware comes with sale including hardtop + doors + rear ambulance doors. Need gasket kit before remounting. 35 inch MT Baja MTZs with less than 5K miles. Winch (...wench and eye patch too?) comes with sale as well.
Very cool driver. Surface rust on bottom of front fenders. $28K OBO.
