1981 Toyota landcruiser BJ40 from Canada. $10,000 obo. It has the original 3.4 liter diesel 3B engine with a 4 speed manual transmission. I imported it from Canada 4 years ago and it has an Oregon title with current tags. The body is in rough shape with the tub and top probably needing replacement. I replaced the front windshield frame with an aluminum one from Aqua lu. The rear ambulance doors are fiberglass reproductions from SOR. The hood and front fenders are still in good shape. I have an extra set of doors that are in pretty good shape. There is rust damage on the frame on the rear driver side.
Engine has been rebuilt with all new sleeves and pistons. The crank was polished and the cam was reprofiled. The head is completely rebuilt and inspected for cracks. Currently there is a lot crankcase pressure which cause oil to blow out the oil breather. I suspect that the engine just needs to wear in. Compression is great and engine runs good.
Modifications
Mojave 6" lift from Man-A-Fre with front shackle reversal
Bilstein shocks
35" BF Goodyear Duratrac tires
Custom long travel drive lines, with a CV shaft for the rear
Rear long travel airbags
Power steering upgrade with a PSC pump and remote reserve
Brakes: Hydro boost with a Willwood master cylinder
ENCO 12,000lb Winch (24volt)
Alternator upgraded to a brushless 24volt 100amp Delco single wire
T3/4 Turbocharger with a homemade exhaust manifold
3” Exhaust
Gauges from Glowshift; oil pressure, oil temperature, Boost, EGT, Coolant temperature, Tach
Engine and transmission have been rebuilt about 2000miles ago
Seats swapped out of an old Volvo
