Wanted 1981 BJ42 24v windshield wiper motor

I bought a cruiser with the wiper motor in a box. I hooked it up and it kept blowing fuses until I realized it was a 12 volt. I'd rather not get this one rewound if I don't have so I thought I'd check here first. In Portland Oregon.

Be aware I had a scammer send me an email claiming to have one of these and even gave me his username for this site. Just to be cautious I sent a PM to that user on here to ask if he was selling the wiper motor and he was not. It was just some random guy trying to take my money.

I got this included in a big parts bin when I purchased a Canadian 3B 24v. I have no idea if this is what you're looking for, or if you can tell it's 24v? But hopefully we get lucky?

wrong year range, the one you posted above is for 68-74 wipers at the top of windshield
the OP is looking for the motor for wipers at the bottom of the frame

Cool, thanks for clarifying. Wasn't sure if just the motor could replace it.
If anyone needs this wiper motor, it's available

That's not the right one but if you can figure out if it's 24 volt I'll take it anyway. Just not sure they ever had a 24 volt wiper motor from 68-74

I'll check it out closer. See if there is anything that tells 24v
