1980 Fj40 for sale. Driven daily.
Bump for lower price
Some specs: Factory powersteering, 2F/4speed
OME springs/shackles/bushings installed a few months ago.
Within the past year: New Trollhole carb, btb 6-1 headers,
custom exhaust,
4 core radiator.
Heavy duty battery
Warn 8274 winch
33x9.5 tires
Toyota clutch/rear main/oil pan gasket and misc. replaced this past winter
New front brakes, all brake lines replaced
New brake MC, clutch MC and SC
New fuel lines
Seats and steering wheel from an fj60
Runs and drives fine.
Power steering leaks, drop of oil from behind parking break. Side cover gasket needs replaced.
Unknown mileage (have a spare 2F that can be included if wanted)
Body can speak for itself. Floors made from 3/16 steel treadplate. Rear quarters are bent 14 guage from the door back. Rear sill is 3/16 2x4 steel tube. Originally mustard, repainted tractor supply yellow. Metal replacement done by a professional. Body work done by me, and it shows.
