I recently imported 2 trucks from AU. My intent is to sell one and keep the other.
1980 BJ42
3B diesel. 30 mpg all daylong. Really nice. Zero dents. Runs excellent. Zero smoke. No oil leaks. I've been daily driving it since I got it when its sunny. 2" lift. Needs a headliner because the one in it is dirty. Aside from that it needs nothing really. I sanded it down and painted it myself with Toyota code 012 Cygnus White which is the original color. I am not a professional but it looks great. There are some spots from an of paint job I plan on going back and re-sanding. Basically chips in the old paint that sorta show through. i've had a ridiculous amount of compliments. New battery. new front calipers and pads.
Has secondary long range diesel tank with switch on dash
Has a couple rips in the drivers seat but nothing major. Has a few knicks in the dash pad but not big. I havent painted the dashboard or the inside of the doors yet.
Tires are great
The only rot is on the front bib at the base of the radiator. patch panels are $175 on eBait.
The underside is fantastic. No rot. I've owned a few dozen cruisers and this is in my top 4. Id rather keep this one.
$15k. MA title in hand.
1984 Troopy FJ45
UPDATE: Troopy has a blown head gasket. debating on keeping it or selling it. price lower than $10k obviously. Ran great for the 2 minutes before the gasket blew. No water in the oil, no knocks in the engine. Still.....nobody likes surprises.
2f Disc brakes. power steering. really clean overall. Some bondo on the roof. Inside floors are amazingly clean. Firewall/engine bay looks brand new. 2" lift. Rear curved glass is out currently but I have replacements with gaskets. Unfortunately has blown head gasket which was a surprise when I got it here. Planning on replacing the head gasket but price does not reflect that work. Debating on keeping this 45 and restoring it over the winter. new rims and tires. have a bunch of misc parts for it. Has propane set up as well. No rot underneath but has the typical rot on the bottom of the front bib like the 42. New battery.
Pice TBD. I'd be willing to break even on this as I have little time to tinker these days. Still need to get the title from the DMV but the waiting lines have been 3+ hours long every time I've gone. Should be able to wait on it next week. Will take a few weeks for the title on this one.

Pretty firm on both prices.
