:steer: Wish I had the energy and a place to do it. I've got a good roof and all glass to put this back to a hardtop with AC and PS! Very cool
like it is. Good luck with the sale. Brett

Thanks Brett. I've got a big garage if you want to do it here... We have plenty of Brazilian coffee for the energy part...

The power steering works great. I'm not sure about the A/C because I never installed the belt. All the equipment is there, though.

That is a great combination along with the rebuilt carb by Jim C. Those three items must be worth the asking price to somebody. I hate to part this rig out, because I did save it from being taken to the junkyard by literally one day. Then I spent about a year getting it to its current condition.

Another option is to buy this

for the whole roof and weld it on to my rig which runs great:

That's another cool project I was thinking about, but I just don't have the time or the $$ to do so.
Cheers,
Chuck

I'd like to know how you get a "Historic Vehicle" plate for that? My '55 looks bone stock (it has a turbo diesel instead of the 2F and and a lift and that disqualifies it). Your's is far from stock yet you still have the plates?!?!

Actually, it's an "Antique Vehicle" Plate. Anything over 25 years old qualifies.

New Price

Special MUD price: $1600. I sure would like to see a Mudder get this...
It would be tough to sell to someone who thinks it's some sort of J**P! I've had that question locally, already...

Different regs then I guess. I tried and they said "no dice" since it is not bone stock.

DAMN! If I was still in Va. I would have paid bought this thing well before the price drop. Especially having done some work on it.

Guys this thing runs like a top.

Someone please snap this thing up! It's a steal, even without a top.

Sorry, I haven't checked this thread in a while. Thanks for the bumps and compliments.

I can't believe this. It sat unsold for 7 months (during all of the nice sunny weather...), and I get 4 calls on it in the last week! I have promised it to a guy on this board up in PA, and I am delivering it this week. I want to honor my promise to this guy even though no $$ is paid yet.

If anything falls through, I think Matt from OBX is next in line, then Carrie In VA is next.

Thanks for all of the interest. I may have an "HJ62" available soon... along with a car hauler.

Steven,
Where are you these days? Or if you tell me, would you have to shoot me?

Edwards AFB California. Liking it a bunch so far.

The Piggup Truck is SOLD to Shmuckster. Gary, thanks for a smooth transaction, short trail ride, and the spare parts for my "HJ62".
Cheers,
Chuck
