For Sale: my 04/1979 FJ40
I have only owned this rig for a short time but am forced to sell due to my wife's layoff
. It still remains as I bought it with all modifications and work done by the previous owner.
4" Lift
35" Mickey Thompson Baja Claws
ARB Air Compressor with Lockers front and rear
Rhino lined tub
New water pump
New thermostat
New front main seal
New oil pan gasket
New valve cover gasket
New rear main seal
New throw out bearing
Re-ground Flywheel
New transmission input seal
New transmission output seal
Replaced transfer case with a newer/rebuilt one
TBI Fuel injection with HEI distributor
Yellow Top Optima battery
Soft bikini top
2 soft half doors
Tuffy center locking console
This rig has no power steering or A/C. It does have a full hard top and doors with all glass intact. Runs and shifts great. The odometer does not work. Included will be a rear Chromoly axle ready to be installed with a disc brake kit. The rear jump seats are included but not installed. They need to be refinished and upholstered. I also have many other parts, a Haynes manual as well as a couple of Toyota repair manuals. There is some rust but nothing too major. I'm sure I'm forgetting something because there is so much to list. This is such an awesome Land Cruiser!!
