1979-1985 frame changes?

Hi

I had a quick question that I can't find the answer to. Was there any change in the pickup frame dimensions between 1979 to 1985, especially in the front for width and bumper hardware.

The reason I ask is because I was wondering if a Arb bar ment for a 1984-1985 will fit on an 1980 truck.

and IIRc, the frame dimensions up front either did match up, or came very close.
if not, you can weld it it.

I doubt the front end changed, if anything it's where the body meets the bumper that you may have trouble.... Good luck!

i think that 84 and up have four front mount bolts and the older ones like you have are two on front and two on top. correct me if im wrong
