decided to sell my unrestored 1978 LHD Canadian toyota landcruiser fj45 long box, orignally dune beige, now is majorly faded

original 4spd, 2f
c channel frame rust, was planning on welding next spring, no time to finish
box has been painted last yr to save it from rusting, tail gate soso
cab is soso, roof is good, glass is good hardtop is good, comes with spare cab!, between the 2 cabs u should be able to make a nice 1
original bench seat(slight tears)
engine runs fine!
title in hand, vin tag on firewall and frame
hasnt been driven in a year or so. brakes still pump, clutch still has tons of life. It will need overhaul etc...

I wanst planning on selling this rig as I was saving it for a future build.


I will try and post pics when I get some free time this weekend. I leave Oct12th and will b selling this rig before that day

full floating rear stock axle, 1 ton!

power washed and degreased engine, came out dammm clean if I say so myself, low kms!!!! all stock

headache rack INCLUDED and in perfect condition,

tailgate included, but rusty, totally fixable

spare cab included. between 2 cabs and some new panels u will have a nice 45 cab

c channel rust as usual on any old 45, I have restored 15 that were probly in WORSE shape. its a great starter 45! and daMMM RARE BEING A CLEAN TITLE 78

I dont think the top has ever been removed, some parts were repainted prob 10yrs ago or so, but they didnt remove the roof

I power washed all the sand inside the frame, removed the box, epoxy primed it then re attached

Could you make sure it's ready to drive (lights, etc) before your deadline?
 
dont have any spare time at this time. I would probly be asking more if I go ahead and fully tune it up, ie all fluids, flushed, diffs, fuel, filters etc...
 
spent a few hrs on the 45 today, took out the original fuel filter, dropped a new battery in, dropped some fresh gas in it. topped up the rad, topped up the oil, finally! found the key, replaced the signal switch as It was snapped off and I had a spare sitting around.

It fired first turn. I am POSITIVE this fj45 only has 21 000original kms on the engine etc... I looked it over and all the little stockers, tabs, red block etc.. all show low low kms, Its gonna need some rust repairs to body and frame, but mannn this is a rare 45 that I was saving for a future build.

Gonna b sad to see it go

few days left then I guess I will leave a key/title/transfer form signed with my caretaker. Would like to b here when it goes as I can assist and always throw in some good parts that u may need in future

new update,

spent a few hrs this morning, removed the seat, dumped the old fuel, filled it up again. re installed the seat, started it up and went for a 30 min drive around my area. IT IDLES LIKE NEW, QUIET as can be, no leaks, steering is tight, gears all work perfectly, lights work fine!, brakes work!

I could not believe how well it ran. I took a few videos of it idling if some1 was curious how it runs. I didnt think it could do a long distance run due to it not being driven in a few yrs, but I am positive it would do a long haul now

aloha and who ever gets this IS GOING TO b overly pleased. Come take it for a spin and see for yourself. A low kms!!!!! super low kms fj45 dont come around all the time, they usually have high kms just pointing out HOW EXTREMELY LOW THE milage is

have 2 days left, every single ORIGINAL part is included in the sale, the tool kit is still yellow in colour, all jack tools are behind the seat, manual in glove box
