I've got this on Ebay but thought I would list it here also. Motor, transmission and transfer case DO NOT go with it. I recently purchased this for some select parts I needed and I don't have the room in my shop for the rest. It is a 1978 FJ40 with a build date of June 1978. The PO had blasted the frame and tub and had the frame painted. This frame is VERY nice. The tub is pretty good also with a few repaired areas and a new rear sill installed. After the repairs some type of bedliner was sprayed in the tub and the underside and cowl was painted. If I were able to keep it I would spray another coat of liner on the underside and inside the tub. There is some filler in a couple of spots like the right rear outside of the tub and around the lower areas under the doors. It also has disc brakes that will need a rebuild and no rear brakes. There is one steering rod but no other steering. It also has a set of white wagon wheels that are good. The tires will air up for loading and moving around but will need to be replaced. It is not perfect but it would be a real good start for a build or maybe a rockcrawler build. I would keep it but I'm picking un a 77 FJ40 this weekend and I need the room so it neds to go quick!
