Question for RHD users (and others too)

Hello gentlemen, trying to fix my horn,

I checked th horn, they work when I connect them to the ground.

The contact on the steering wheel work, I checked with an ohmmeter.

the 2 ways connection under the steering wheel, the green wire who goes to the brass circle on the steering wheel has not the 12 volts supposed .
My question is: Is there a horn relay somewhere, and where is it located?

I didnnt found anything under the hood nor under the daschboard. On the electrical diagram ( Land cruiser 1975-1983 FJ series) there is no horn relay and on toyodiy there is one...

Any help would be great.

Thanks
Tatat

Not sure if RHD makes any difference. The wire from the horns to the steering wheel should be hot all the time. The horn buttons on the steering wheel are grounded when normally open. When you press one of the horn buttons you complete the circuit. Check for ground on the steering wheel and check to make sure that you have voltage on the wire from the horns all the way to the steering wheel. There is no horn relay on LHD pigs. Bet you have a broken wire somewhere in the harness

Tthanks, As there is no relay I will bypass the original wire, Why can we find Horn relay for sale ?

There is a stock horn relay.

Usually on the inner fender apron, towards the front...
