In the past few days i have removed the front left guard, bonnet, and as of tonight the front gill section.

last night, i pulled the mesh out from behind the front grill. and started on the passenger side front mud guard.

that's a very interesting history, and it's a beaut. id say it's two for one.
also, when that front end gets put back together i think it would be even better to see that bezel in the right place.

Yesterday, i finished off the drivers side, and removed the radiator and surround. Now it is time to remove engine.

the last one, also as you can see, i have started on the windscreen. best thing about it is, the rust staying in the windscreen itself so no rust in the lower section under the rubber gasket

Since last up-date, the body bolts have been undone and or snapped.
3inch timbers have been placed between the body and chassis ready for stands to hold the tub up. then roll the chassis out for a clean and a once over.
The 3inch of body lift the blocks have given me is ideal for my build. was going to go 2 inch but 3 is the go now
Does anyone know how to get the gear lever out, rather than undo the bolts like i have?
In the manual it tells you to use a SST (Special Service Tool) it looks similar to a die spanner
anyway here are some pictures.
1st pic shows the radiator support rods that i got Zinc coated,
2nd its amazing what an extra 3 inches achieves
