Truck is completed and garaged awaiting an export paper to schedule it to ship.
This is my personal favorite truck and the most collectable and most original Land Cruiser I have found out of over 10 trucks purchased so far and 18 months of searching in Colombia.
Truck has believed to be 113,000 miles. Working odometer shows 80,000 km thus we believe 18x,xxx km.
Drives and shifts like low mile FJ43.
Has the following original details...
1. keys
2. tools
3. 100% interior including door panels(we repaired and left the front bench with patina/wear. seatbelts new). comes with seat covers.
4. sun visors still in plastic
5. believed to be owned by a Doctor since new for 3 decades
6. body undented ever
7. never repainted underneath
8. floors pristine
9. all toyota glass
10. original 16 inch rims
11. original radio delete plate
restoration.. we did a 3 month sympathetic restoration including..
1. 5 new Pirelli 7.50 x 16 tires
2. repainted the near perfect exhaust
3. pulled the windshield, fenders and hard top and repainted the truck
4. brand new soft top and brand new metal bars and rear half doors
5. 4 new tokico shocks
6. releveled the suspension
7. mechanical overhaul including rebuilt carb and new brakes
This truck looks BETTER in real life than in photos. You can spot it from 5 blocks away. Amazing color and likely one of the most original FJ43s to come to the USA.
Truck has NO power steering and I prefer them this way with the skinny military tires. Drives light and direct. Likely 55 mph cruise due to 4.10 gearing.
This honestly is the one I would keep for myself but if I start down that path....
