For Sale 1978 FJ40 Project (no motor)--$1500

Hello--

Putting my '78 FJ40 up for sale--I would like to fix it up but don't think I have the time. Clear title, no motor. Trans/Transfer included. Put your motor in!

The frame is ratty but spring perches solid. The floor of the tub is typical midwest rot but relatively solid. New quarters a few years back.

No hard-top. Soft top only.
No Passenger seat.
Wiring harness rebuilt but not connected--recommend new one/painless system.

Low miles on BFG 33x12.50's, Skyjacker 4", etc.

Located in Escanaba, MI (Upper Michigan). Would be a nice start to a project. First $1500. kpfoten1@gmail.com

Doors even look good, I'm sure it will sell fast, seems like a solid deal. If you post up pictures of frame and rust areas it will help you, as most potential buyers like those shots. Good luck.

The doors/fenders/apron were installed by the PO. One small corner of rust was cut out of the psgr door but otherwise very good. Unfortunately, the psgr fender has a crunch that was repaired with flat steel. I should get pics of the frame up.

Interestingly enough, the rig was previously owned by the grandson of Preston Tucker (Tucker auto fame). No kidding!
