not mine 1978 FJ40 Landcruiser - cars & trucks - by owner - vehicle... - https://salem.craigslist.org/cto/d/salem-1978-fj40-landcruiser/7478013011.html

Refurbished FJ40. Prior owner began off frame restoration and installed Chevy small block, switched to automatic trans, added power steering, added lift. I took over 6 years ago and finished with complete paint and body and new interior. Very little if any rust - solid and dependable and turns heads. 4WD not connected. Have driven less than 1000 miles in past 3 years - garaged.

Chevy column shift and no 4wd. I’m curious what the complete drive train looks like, It doesn’t look like it even has a front driveline🤷🏻‍♂️. Weird rear frame crossmember that protrudes past the body too.
It's likely a front drive shaft trans clearance issue. The front drive shaft clears the pan on the TH400 on my '72 SBC 40 by a couple of mm's and IIRC the pan is trimmed a little.
