Hi Folks,

I bought this 40 from this site about 2 years ago. At the time it was mustard yellow with a whole lotta rust...but not anymore. I have to sell it cause I need the money for a renovation to the kitchen.

I'm asking $8800.00 and I think after you look at the pictures, you'll see that is a fair price. If I don't get any hits here, I'll end up going to EB#y and try my luck there. Here is what I replaced when I got it:

Cosmetic: all the metal, with special attention to the rear quarter panels, sill and rear floor have been replaced. I replaced the fenders and all the light markers, hood hooks and name plates. I had the hood repaired from the hail damage that it sustained from the previous owner.

I bought a custom front bumper from Hawkdriver and replaced the front windshield. I also installed a rear bench seat with seatbelts. The seat is from a GM Tracker and fit like a glove.

I also replaced the running boards which is the only diamond plating you'll see on this rig

Mechanical: The brakes all around were replaced; brand new brakes lines and stabilizer bar and shocks. It still has the factory inline 6 which runs like a top and straight.

What needs to be done: I still have the roof but it is still the mustard yellow. I also have the doors which are currently getting painted. They've already been restored and repaired. I also have the tire carrier which is getting mounted as we speak. I also have a bikini top that came with the 40 when I bought it.

The biggest expense the new owner would have is to restore the seats. They are worn out but the cushion is still good.

I have a whack load of pictures so just email me at delerbal@yahoo.com and I'll send them asap.

Hi,

Yes, I listed the vehicle on Ebay this morning. The vehicle is registered in Canada but can easily get re-registered into the US. I will assist in delivering the vehicle as much as I can.

Thanks.
